Extended evening and weekend appointments
As part of Trafford Primary Health’s GP practice federation, appointments are available for Trafford patients each weekday evening from 18:30 – 20:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00-13:00 with a Trafford GP or nurse at Firsway Health Centre in Sale. This service has been designed to support Trafford patients struggling to secure a doctor’s appointment within practice hours. Contact our reception to book an appointment.
Patients are requested to contact us via askmyGP and a Home appointment will be arranged if appropriate. Please only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will decide how urgently a visit is needed. You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
If appointments are not available, you may also attend the walk-in centre at Trafford General Hospital, Moorside Road, Manchester M41 which is open every day from 08:00 until 20:00.
