Requests for prescriptions can be made:
- Online. To register for this service you will need to bring proof of address (utility bill from within the past three months) and photo ID (Passport/photo driving licence) to the surgery reception
- By handing in your request slip at reception
- By post (please enclose a Stamped Addressed Envelope)
Please note: to avoid any error, we cannot take prescription requests via telephone
NHS electronic prescription services: this service allows prescriptions to be sent electronically from the surgery to your nominated pharmacy for collection. Please have a word with your chosen pharmacy or at our reception if you would like to use this service.
Medication review: Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Collecting prescriptions: please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed. Due to the high volume of prescriptions we are unable to contact patients to let them know their prescription is ready for collection.

Trafford Minor Ailments Scheme: Our local chemists offer a Minor Ailments Scheme which enables patients to be get some medications without prescription

- Test Results
All test results are reviewed by a GP who will contact patients with the results of any X-ray, test, or blood test where further action is required. Please note that due to the high volume of test results we receive, we do not contact patients where test results are normal and will inform you of results at your next appointment.
Patients can telephone for their results Monday to Friday after 14:00.
